Covid-19 measures

The museum reopens its doors on Saturday June 13.

In order to welcome you in complete safety, we have implemented several measures:

Opening

In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

- from June 13 to July 12: Saturdays and Sundays only, guided tours at 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

- from July 14 to August 30: every day except Monday, guided tours at 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

- from August 30 to November 8: weekends, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., guided tours at 3 p.m. and 4.30 p.m.

Barrier measures put in place

In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

- plexiglass windows at the reception and the shop

- hydroalcoholic gel available at reception and at the shop

- markings

- reorganization of the visit circuit

- distancing of textile collections (prohibition of touching them)

- reorganization of the toilets (one for the entrance and one for the exit)

- group limited to 10 people

- tourist documentation limited to 1 copy of each brochure (ask the volunteers for one)

- cleaning and disinfection of contact areas after each visit

Shop

In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

- ban on touching products

- ask a volunteer if a product interests you

- if the product is affected but not purchased, it is quarantined in an appropriate container for 6 days

Wearing a mask is compulsory inside the museum (except for children under 11 and people with disabilities). If you don't have one, we can offer one for € 1.

The compulsory health pass in the museum from July 21:

The health pass must be presented on your arrival at the museum with proof of identity (national identity card, passport, driving license or any other official document with your name, first name and photo, type student card, vital card or other ).

The health pass consists of the digital or paper presentation of a health proof of your choice among the following three:

- a vaccination certificate, provided that people have a complete vaccination schedule;
- a certificate of RT-PCR or negative antigen test of less than 48 hours;
- the result of a positive RT-PCR or antigen test attesting to recovery from Covid-19, dating at least 11 days and less than 6 months.

Entry is subject to the health pass only for those over 18 from July 21, 2021. Young people aged 12 to 17 may present without a health pass until August 30, 2021.

To carry out the various projects of the museum and enable it to satisfy all audiences, we need financial assistance.

Also, to support us, we give you the opportunity to join our association.

The association aims in particular to preserve, present, enhance, disseminate and promote textile heritage and know-how.

You can :

  • join the association (AMIS card 12 € valid for 1 year, it allows you to benefit from free entry to the museum throughout the season).

  • support us with a donation (minimum € 20) to benefit from a tax reduction (66%).

Example: for a donation of 50 € your tax reduction will be 33 €.
